Lucino Vanities Auckland Showroom

Step into Lucino Vanities at Residium and nothing is on a plinth. Each vanity at Showroom 104 sits in a finished bathroom bay, with its own tiled or panelled wall, its mirror, its tapware and a light above it. You’re looking at the thing installed rather than the thing photographed, with the tapware, the mirror and the wall finish already chosen around it.

Lucino Vanities makes bathroom vanities and the stone benchtops that go on them. The catalogue runs to four ranges: Lifestyle on moisture-resistant plywood, then Interior, Designer and Architectural moving up through wall-hung and stone-topped pieces. The model names are Southern Alps peaks, so Sefton, Hicks, Perouse, Dixon, Aoraki, Silberhorn and Torres tell you nothing at all about what a vanity looks like, which is an argument in itself for coming to see them.

That’s worth a trip, because a vanity is one of the few bathroom decisions made of three separate choices that have to agree. The cabinet finish, the benchtop and the basin are specified independently. A combination that reads well across two catalogue pages can fall apart on a wall.

Every display carries a card naming the model, the width, the product code, the benchtop, the basin and the cabinet finish, with a QR code beside it. That’s the detail most showrooms make you chase by email afterwards. Sefton 900 pairs a fluted oak-look drawer front with a white stone top and an oval vessel basin. Hicks 1000 is a curved cream fluted unit under a veined stone top, with a matt black round basin and brass tapware. Beaumont 1000 is a gloss white two-drawer wall-hung with a black top and a square white basin. Perouse 1500 is a green panelled double with two oval basins and wall-mounted brushed tapware. Between them the bays run brass, brushed nickel and matt black, which is most of the tapware decision made visible.

The bays themselves repay a slow walk. One is vertical panelling in a deep green. Another is charcoal stack-bonded tile under a round black mirror. A third is soft limewash-look plaster in pale green, with a long frameless mirror above it. These are the wall treatments people actually choose, and a vanity seen against them is much closer to a decision than a catalogue spread can get.

Lucino also makes architectural stone, and a wall graphic in the pod introduces it. That is not a footnote here. The benchtop is one of the three choices, and it can come from the same supplier as the cabinet under it.

Everything carries a 5 year manufacturing warranty, conditional on professional installation, and delivery is free to urban addresses nationwide.

The pod sits in Section B, right next to NZ Panels. You can explore Lucino Vanities 7 days a week at Residium. No appointment necessary, simply drop in and explore at your convenience, and when you’ve settled on a combination, we’ll connect you with the team.

SEE THE COMBINATIONS

At a glance

  • Four ranges, from moisture-resistant plywood in Lifestyle up to the stone-topped pieces in Architectural.
  • Model names are Southern Alps peaks, so Sefton, Hicks, Perouse and Aoraki describe a mountain rather than a shape.
  • Every display card names the model, width, product code, benchtop, basin and cabinet finish.
  • Widths on display run from 900 to 1500, with the 1500 carrying two basins rather than one.
  • 5 year manufacturing warranty from the date of purchase, valid where installation follows Lucino’s instructions and the New Zealand Building and Plumbing Codes.
  • Free delivery to urban addresses nationwide, in 5 to 10 working days, with returns accepted within 14 days.

Showroom 104 is specified rather than styled, because every display carries its model, width, product code, benchtop, basin and cabinet finish on a card.

  • Specify from the card: Model, width, code and all three finishes are on the display.
  • Range structure: Four ranges run from moisture-resistant plywood in Lifestyle up to stone-topped Architectural pieces, with wall-hung options through Designer.
  • Warranty conditions: The 5 year manufacturing warranty holds only where installation follows Lucino’s instructions and the New Zealand Building and Plumbing Codes.

Showroom 104 builds each vanity into a finished bathroom bay, so you can judge the cabinet, the benchtop and the basin as one thing.

  • Read the cards: Each display names the model, width, benchtop, basin and cabinet finish, so a combination you like can be written down exactly.
  • Bring your tile: The bays use real tiled and panelled walls, so a sample held against a vanity front tells you more than two photographs.
  • Compare the tapware: The bays run brass, brushed nickel and matt black, so the finish decision gets made against the vanity rather than after it.

Tip: Photograph the card beside any combination you like, because the model name is a mountain and won’t remind you what you saw.
