Residium is a physical and digital hub for New Zealand’s interior designers, architects, and specifiers. With 40+ curated showrooms, our centre offers an immersive, tactile experience that helps you specify products with confidence—and introduce your clients to materials in real life.

Whether you’re at concept stage or preparing a final schedule of finishes, Residium is a space to gather ideas, meet suppliers, and move projects forward.

Do I need to book an appointment to visit Residium?

No appointment is necessary—designers are welcome to visit any time during our opening hours, 7 days a week. However, if you’d like to meet with a specific supplier, we recommend contacting them directly in advance.

Can I bring clients with me?

Absolutely. Residium is designed to support your client presentations and product selection process. Many designers use our space to guide clients through material decisions in a tactile, real-world environment.

Is there somewhere I can meet with clients on-site?

Yes! Our showroom has over 10 communal tables or meeting areas in public spaces. We have bookable boardroom and conference room spaces for private presentations requiring a projector or TV. These are ideal for presentations, workshops, or quiet one-on-one discussions. View our Facilities Hire Guide for more information.

Residium has high speed wi-fi throughout. 

How can I access product samples?

Some showrooms offer samples for collection on-site or for distribution from Reception – just ask. If you need a range of materials, let our team at Reception know—we can help connect you with suppliers or arrange for samples to be sent directly to your studio.

We are also able to loan out a range of products for photoshoots and styling.

 

Do you host industry events or CPD sessions?

Yes, we host regular trade-only events including Design Discovery Mornings, showroom launches, product demonstrations, and CPD-accredited talks. Sign up to our newsletter to receive invitations.

We love showcasing local talent! If you’ve completed a project featuring products from Residium brands, you can submit it for consideration via our Project Submission form below. High-quality photography is required.

You’re also welcome to film and photograph at Residum – be sure to tag us @residium_.

 

Is there a cost to use the space?

There’s no cost to visit or browse the showrooms. Some spaces like boardrooms and event facilities require a small hire fee—especially for commercial or hosted gatherings.

How do I book a guided showroom tour for my design group or studio?

If you’d like a personalised showroom tour or product demonstration, we’re happy to arrange it. Simply email us at hello@residium.co.nz or speak to our team at Reception—we’ll connect you with the appropriate suppliers and coordinate a time that suits you.

 

Can you connect me to brand trade programmes or accounts?

Yes—most of our exhibitors offer trade programmes, discounts, or account services for design professionals. Our team can connect you with the right brand representatives to set up trade accounts or provide product-specific support.

Submit Your Project

We invite interior designers, architects, kitchen and bathroom fabricators and homeowners to submit their projects for a chance to showcase their work on our blog. Each featured story will also be shared in our newsletter (23,000 subscribers) and on our Instagram (@residium_), and we will also forward your work to the relevant suppliers for additional exposure.

We are specifically looking for projects from New Zealand and Australia that feature products from Residium Exhibitors. You can find our Brand list here and our Product Ranges here. You don’t have to have visited Residium to be featured as we aim to inspire nationwide.
