Gardeners Emporium curates and makes pieces that bring artistry, form and balance to a space. Founded by Rachel Cameron-Lee, it works across statement pots and urns, water features, preserved moss art, and corten and stainless steel sculpture. Custom pieces are made to a colour and finish you specify, and everything ships New Zealand wide.
The pots are wood fired, and the catalogue says it plainly: every item is unique and can vary from the photographs. That is the character of the range rather than a caveat on it, and it is why a screen is a poor way to choose one. Glazed and unglazed jars come in aged stone finishes. Alongside them sit ribbed and wave-textured forms, a hexagonal urn with botanical relief, a white faceted pot, and a terracotta urn with applied dragon relief.
Pietro Stoneware carries 24 finishes across two sample boards, from terracotta and graphite through travertine, black and verdigris. A piece can be ordered in the colour and finish you nominate. If you’re matching a paved terrace or a benchtop you already have, that’s the decision worth settling against the real thing.
Preserved moss is the other half of what Gardeners Emporium does. It’s sustainably harvested and treated with natural ingredients, and it holds its colour and texture for years with no water, no sunlight and no maintenance. Framed artworks and moss-planted mirrors come as pieces in their own right, and moss walls are made to your dimensions. That is the answer for an internal office, a lift lobby or a hallway where a living plant would die.
The stainless and corten steel sculptures and water features are made by artisans whose installations include luxury hotels, private villas and public developments around the world. Those pieces can be fully custom. Every catalogue entry carries an order code, measurements, cubic metres, net weight and a minimum order quantity. A freight or access question gets answered before the order rather than after it. Stock ships within 7 days and indent orders take about 8 weeks to manufacture.
1. See the scale on the terrace. Showroom 105 at Residium is laid out as a paved terrace, with the pots at full size, which is the only reliable way to judge one against your own doorway.
2. Look up. Moss chandeliers hang well past head height above the pod, and the framed artwork and planted mirror on the back wall show what preserved moss does in a room.
3. Match the finish. Two Pietro Stoneware boards carry 12 finishes each, so bring a tile, a paver or a photograph of your terrace and hold it against the samples.
4. Take the card, not the catalogue. The catalogues in the pod are reference copies, so photograph the entry you want and pick up the card from the stand instead.
5. Talk to Rachel. Rachel Cameron-Lee can be reached on 021 297 2641 or at rachel@gardenersemporium.co.nz, and Luijten Landscaping shares Showroom 105 if the pot is part of a bigger garden.
