Altherm Window Systems is one of three window and door brands made by APL, New Zealand’s largest window and door manufacturer. Altherm draws on what it describes as a 40-year tradition of design and engineering excellence, and the emphasis shows in the detail: clean contemporary lines, thermally broken frames, and finishes built for New Zealand conditions.

Altherm focuses on the complete window system. Rather than treating frames, glass and installation as three separate decisions, the system is designed so that they work together and the thermal performance specified is the performance delivered. The range covers awning and casement windows, sliding, bi-fold and French doors, entrance doors and specialty systems, available double glazed and with ThermalHeart+® thermal breaks, alongside Klima® uPVC.

Those systems are on display at full size and fully operable in Showroom 191 | Section C at Residium in Parnell, Auckland, straight off the reception area, together with the hardware and colour boards that finish them. A complete window system is hard to picture from a brochure and obvious the moment you’re standing in front of one, sliding it open.

Altherm joinery is fabricated and installed by a network of independently owned and operated manufacturers across New Zealand, which means national engineering delivered by people who know your region’s climate, councils and builders, and who you’ll deal with directly.
